Jordan Thomas and The New York Connection was established in January 2023 to project the “New York Flavor” of musical performance that James Thomas Jordan has brought to Florida, and to represent several of the incredibly talented performers that are onboard with us, originally from the “Big Apple”. It is Jim’s belief that the New York “mystique” and level of performance is one of the premier styles of entertainment throughout the world (“If you can make it there…”) and Jim is proud to have brought this professional, upbeat style to South Florida, since 2016. The Jordan Thomas Odyssey Bands were established in October 2016 along with JTO Entertainment, Inc., in Vero Beach, Florida, by Executive Director, James Thomas Jordan. Jim formed “The Jordan Thomas Orchestra”, an 18-piece big band, in 1989 in the New York/New Jersey area and he had a sole vision…to share his love for beautiful, uplifting music with the rest of the world! After moving to Florida in the summer of 2014, Jim decided to create another band here in sunny Florida, but this time, with the goal of providing clients with a wide assortment of musical entertainment options…everything from a solo musician to a 20-piece big band, and everything in between! Since then, our musicians and ensembles have been performing at dozens of beautiful country clubs here in South Florida to rave reviews, and the results have been wonderful! The popularity of “JORDAN THOMAS AND THE NEW YORK CONNECTION” has been growing from our original “base” in Vero Beach to other popular destinations in South Florida, including Sebastian, Palm Beach, and Boca Raton, and beyond. Our fun, and energetic bands have had the pleasure of performing at The Breakers Palm Beach, The Beach Club of Palm Beach, and The Broken Sound Club of Boca Raton, in addition to some lovely clubs here in Vero Beach, including the Vero Beach Country Club, Quail Valley River Club, Sea Oaks Country Club, Grand Harbor Country Club, the Vero Beach Yacht Club, Indian River Estates, and many others. Our performers have a wealth of entertainment experience from all around the world and we have been delighting our audiences for almost thirty-five years!
